WHAT IS SELF STORAGE ?

Very simply self storage is units individually locked and secured by yourself. Imagine it as your garage, loft or garden shed all into one with the added benefit that you can increase or decrease the space as and when you need it. GETTING STARTED

1. The easiest way is to  complete the form to the right for a quotation. These will be sent to you during Reception Hours. If you click on - Select-  it will give you an idea of costs.

2. If you like a good old fashioned conversation please call 01491 693300. If we are away from our desk or reception is closed leave some information and we will get back to you.

3, Send us an email using the  contact details at the top of the page. One of the team will come back to you (best if outside office hours)

4. Pop down and see us. We are open every day and happy to show you over the facility. We offer flexible out of hours appointments. Click on BOOK A VISIT at the top of the page and we look forward to seeing you soon

Lastly if you need storage urgently and outside of reception hours please call 01491 693300 (24 hours) and one of us will receive your enquiry and come back to you as soon as possible.

TipA 3 seater sofa on end can cost around £75 a year to store. Be ruthless and store only only what you really need.

Fact: Most commonly disposed of items include fridges, mattresses and old sofas

Tip Loan friends your Garden Furniture. Its designed to go outside.  Why pay to store it

BOXES, TAPE ETC 

We have a box shop offering the basic packing materials. Boxes, Bubble Wrap, Tape and Wrapping Paper are all available during reception opening hours.

 

If you need a large quantity we can certainly help. Come down you do not need to be a customer to buy and you will find us to be the cheapest in town.

WORKING FROM HOME ?

Its the latest and most popular requirement for storage at present. Taking a 30 square feet unit is generally enough to free up that room and enable a comfortable distraction free space in your home. In many cases businesses are happy to pay the £86.66+VAT per month to facilitate staff working.

OFFICE & SHOP DECLUTTER

With us all now needing to social distance why not free up that filing area, pop all those supplies in a storage unit or simply declutter a desk or two. It has been proven to increase productivity and in many cases for around £80 a month +VAT you can transform an area or even increase retail selling areas

SHORT TERM STORAGE

Many of us are needing short term storage at this time and to facilitate this we are offering fully flexible storage with no notice lettings. You just pay for the days you need and use. Move in pay for what you need and when you have finished just hand back the keys and you are all done. 

Feel free to use our out of hours appointment system and let us fit in to your schedule.

FILE ARCHIVING

It is underestimated how much time is wasted searching for files. When you consider the space taken up in the office by dormant files in multiple cupboards "just in case" you might need to access them  that storage unit is a great idea. Our clients include solicitors, accountants and retailers. Get in touch it is cheaper than you think.

SPACE ESTIMATER

THE MOST COMMON QUESTION IS HOW MUCH SPACE IS ENOUGH ?

If we had went paragraphs I could not cover all the scenarios. To condense it into three consider the following:

A locker will fit easily in the boot of your car, a large red telephone box would fit into our 15 square feet and imagine your standard garden shed a few feet taller and you have a 25 square feet.

A 35 square feet will house 50 packing boxes that you see your average removal company use. A 50 square feet will fit in a large transit van and a 75 square feet will hold an almost full luton box van

Tip: Space hungry items are bicycles, sofas, mattresses and divan beds. When you move out most people treat themselves to a new fridge or washing machine. If its a Miele keep it, if its Beko bin it !

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ?

As a guide most customers take the 12 week minimum stay which gives you four weeks free storage.

Prices for a locker start at £5+vat per week, 25 square feet is £20+vat and a 75 square feet is £40+vat. These are before any free weeks

If you complete the quotation request we will send over a tailored offer, don't forget to let us know when and how long you would like to stay and do not worry unlike other storage companies we will not endlessly persue you to the end of the earth once we have your details.

From Barbers to Gyms and even Ice Cream  production has found its way down to henley self storage. You may have been heard of henley village. Its a simple brand to identify the area that these businesses work within.
